Other Hyrulian Languages

Throughout Hyrule and the lands beyond, there are many other languages besides
Hylian. Languages of the races of the world. Though the seperate races tend to
keep their personal languages secret and bearly speak their words outside their
tribes, their ways of writing have slipped past as well as a few words, though
not enough to really learn these languages.
I have here the writings of a few of the races around the land of Hyrule, and will
tell you how to use the characters correctly. Some languages are more complex
while some are less complex than Hylian, but all are quite easy to write if you learn
their character meanings.
You may save the fonts available for your personal use, or the images if there is no
font yet, but do not post them or the images here on another webpage or claim
them as your own. I've worked hard on all of this.

The Zoran language is shared by the Merfolk of the waters. The writing is in the
shapes of circles and waves, representing water. Zoran is simple to learn, as there
are only 24 characters, 10 numbers and rather simple punctuation. As those of this
world might notice, there are no characters coresponding to a Q or X. Zoran does
not have these characters, and when writing any words that would translate to a Q
or X, K and Z are used in their place. for a "Qu" sound, "Kw" is used.

The Goron language it's self is quite un-complex, however the alphabet had a few
interesting rules. As you can see a few letters have more than one character. The
rule about this is that if a word contains more than one of the same letter, the
second letter is represented bt the second character. Otherwize the first character
is used. Normally, the letters with two characters will alternate throughout the
whole sentance or entire writen work.

The language of the Gerudo is somewhat different than the other languages of Hyrule.
It's alphabet is made up of consonants, with special characters for the vowels that go
over, or under the consonants, depending on the length. There are however special
characters for the vowels, that are used if a vowel is at the beginning of a word, or if
it is used alone. The characters are read from left to right, and up, if there is a vowel
character. The Vowel character always appears above the consonant that it follows.
(Note: The red circles are only used as examples of how to place the vowel characters.)

The language and alphabet of the Deku people is rather simple, and visually quite
tribal. As like in Hylian, Deku has a few compound characters. However, in Deku,
if the compound can be used, it always is. There is no exception for this.

The Subrosian alphabet is rather interesting, yet simple. It is alike Hylian and Deku in
respect to it's compound characters, and like Deku, they are always used if it arises in
the written texts. Little else is known about the Subrosian alphabet, and less is known
about the Subrosian language.

These alphabets are fully created by myself and are ment for fun. I do NOT mean to infringe on
anything Nintendo owns, or the copyrights of the Legend of Zelda games. This is a non-profit site, and non funded project.
